Hi, My Name Is Michael. I've been into lets say "electricity" since I was 2 and put and extension cord in my mouth, and we can all guess what resulted from that...Ever since then I have dismantled everything, whorded any electronic devices that has passed its prime and built frightening contraptions with anything I could get my hands on. I found 4hv when it was on Sam Barros's site and I just sorta loomed around there. I've done a bit of professional web design, but now I'm into tesla coils mainly, (I blew out a wing of lights in my school with one) and some of this stuff -> I'm in Grd 11, fairly bored with everything there, although everyone thinks I'm going to blow up the town one day.... ....Wouldn't that be nice. -Michael (ForceLabs)

Hi all,
My name is Bill and I am a 42 yr. old analog RF engineer and scientific software developer who goes through alternating stages of frenetic project work and unemployment. Those of you who have seen some of my postings will know that I have a love of physics and mathematics (which I hope does not get too overbearing!!! )..
I have worked in jobs as diverse as biology lab assistant, stone-mason's helper, electrician, carpenter, broadcast FM radio station engineer, theatrical sound and lighting director, musical instrument repair, expert in wood seasoning/drying, RF/microwave design engineer, teacher, researcher...and now, HV enthusiast! I started in electronics quite early in life, dismanteling TVs and radios...at age 5 or so, putting them back together again was more of a challenge, much to the displeasure of my parents .
My present interests include modeling Tesla coil resonators, coilguns. Projects I would like to tackle soon are: [list] 1.Build and experiment with DDS synthesizers. 2.Learn about digital signal processing in some depth. Would like to experiment with software radio. 3.Learn the basics of PHP, XML, Java, Javascript, etc. for sprucing up my web page.... 4.Would like to build HF power amplifier/power oscillator based on Class-E (at as high a frequency as I can and still get efficiency > 85-90%)

Hi my Name is Danny Quintal
I'm currently 18 and live in the great white north otherwise known as Canada. I have always had a keen interest in everything that involved electricity. I remember being a small boy taking every thing I could find apart. However I wasn't very good at putting the stuff I took apart back to gather again. A few years back I was surfing the Internet and I ran across Powerlabs.org. I seen some very interesting HV projects that Sam put together. My first HV project was a simple 2n3055 transistor flyback driver. I still remember spending hours playing with the arcs. A was absolutely captivated but the beauty of it. I have been hooked ever since.
