They say you should choose a career involving something you love and something you're good at!

So, who's up first for the "Pharmaceutical testing officer" job at phizer then?

Hi all, my name is Jeff. I'm 21 and I'm currently an electrical and computer engineering student at Penn State.
I'm into pretty much anything electrical/mechanical. I spend most of my free time (which I seem to be lacking lately) working on my car. Mostly audio and visual stuff. Here's a link if anyone cares... link.

I'm currently in the process of building my first tesla coil.

I did this already, but first day forum was up so I doubt lots have seen it smile

Im Marko, From Zadar/Croatia (hope someone knows where it is).
And I'm 14 and 15 In 3 days, suprised how much 'genius' 15-16-17 Y olds are here.

Im interested in electroncs from unknown age, i remember playing with battery charger in my garage as maybe 8.

'Serious' circuits started in 5. grade, when I built 'polarity checker' for regional competition.
On suprise I won 1.st place and went to country competition, ofcourse got pwned there.

I managed to win regional every year and in 8. grade I brought my TC there, it won 1.st place in country. It was unbeliveable crap, untunable, gave some 10cm spark but nobody could say it doesn't work :)

So im now in secondary school, learned a lot since there.
As you can see this is my main interest, in 5.th grade I started programming, 8051mcus (basic and asm) later C++, etc.

Sports/activity status: sits in chair unable to move...
dead

I hope to 'free' myself here in english (as learn isnt maybe right word more), meet some inteligent people (compared to too much croatians).

Cheers...

Note to self: find something else to do when on toilette.

Sorry for the off topic (Mod delete this if you really dont want it) I just wanted to add my opinion.

I would have to agree with keith on the genius thing. But I guess some people's self esteem needs it.

No mod is going to delete that post. This is the Chatting board and I'll encourage discussion about one another. Go ahead.

If you started a post with "Sorry for the off topic..." on any other board, mind...

BP, a fascinating hobby for the analytical, technical mind on a public toilet seat is to work out how to remove the toilet rolls from their holders. Sometimes it's straightforward but other holders are really elaborate and tools are sometimes required, to stop idiots stealing the paper I suppose. Of course, anyone intelligent enough to work out how to remove the paper probably won't want to keep it.

Speaking of skateboard, here is an old photo of me getting some air outside my house. I can hardly believe it myself, but this photo was taken 20 years ago back in 1986, probably well before most of you were born. Damn that makes me feel old. . . cry
