Yep Uzzors, it was the feedback, I thought the 7414's pins were setup a certain way, then when i tested the pins it turns out that I had messed up, Connected 2 outputs together and and was trying to pull an output from an input, Fixed it and it ran fine....until I put the topload on and then the fets blew up again, but this time I think it was overheating, since the heatsinks were crazy hot. TCguy first try running it and see if you can't draw a small arc, if you can its your feedback circuit.

Switch the primary wires around the ntry to draw an arc, if that doesn't work then try and switching the feedback wires if your using a CT. If still nothing then I don't know ATM.

i tested the waveform on the secondarys of the gdt and now i am getting a 60hz interfierence in the signal. last time i tested them i wasent getting that so i have no clue were that came from.
