Nice schematic, thanks for posting! I might use this on my upcoming drsstc, and i have already made plans to make an overcurrent shutdown.
Overcurrent shutdown is just as simple as a thermistor, an op amp, a couple passives, and a pot on the non-inverting input to control the temperature it will cut off at.

Just for the record, I have a nice little Fluke IR remote thermometer with a laser pointer indicator, but it completely and utterly loses the plot when near a running DR/SSTC. The joy of anything with an unshielded uP running in that environment...

Have this circuit been tested near a TC yet?
It uses a voltage signal which are very prone to noise, which is why most analog signals I install in industries are current signals.
But from the datasheet of the LM45 I see that internal this sensor also uses voltage and then with a external resistor network gives a current signal, so wether it will suffer the same as the LM35.. atleast its alot shorter path than a wire :)

Thanks =D And, Yep, I was thiinking about that too, I've never tested it on a sstc, so it might be a problem if not shielded good. I need to test it. If someone has already made it and can test near a tesla coil, post the results =), I dont have the board anymore here, so I need to make another one.
