You could try but then it would just be a complicated Mazzilli driver, without ZVS. I think you've peaked the output power for that circuit. You could increase the supply voltage slightly, use fewer primary turns if you really wanted to push it.

Oh and about the internal capacitor/multiplier pin, I harvested some fresh flybacks yesterday and found one which gave incredible 4 cm sparks from just 12V! So after sparking fine for a while I grounded the pin but when I ran it again the internal diode died! This has happened before but I thought it was due to overvoltage.
