Back in December Steve Ward and I ran our big DRSSTC musical twins in a warehouse. What a treat. Winter coiling doesn't happen much in Chicago area. At least with coils this size.
Any way I wanted to share some footage from that day. Here is some footage of some power chords that Steve created.

My coil stopped at the end due to a "temporary" 16awg power connect bursting into flames. Needless to say, it has since been replaced with something a little bigger! The mechanical-type ammeter on Jeff's coil was saying ~50A line current for his coil alone. It sure takes a LOT of power to play chords at that spark length!

You can see the flash of the wire exploding if you look carefully at the back of my silhouetted head in the lower left hand corner of the screen. It happens at 1:32 in the video.
Heres the link again. Link2
The coils were so loud that you couldn't hear the pop of the wire exploding.

The arcs hitting the polished concrete floor are just beautiful.
What was the music that was played? it's somewhat haunting,
reminiscent of Sigur Ros.
