My igbts got hotter with primary feedback. I think it was a tunning issue my primary was tuned 40KHz lower than the secondary.

A few years ago I proved that secondary base current feedback doesn't give reliable zero-current switching in a DRSSTC. It seems to work properly when unloaded, but streamer loading and ground arcs cause big phase shifts between primary and secondary.

With primary current feedback you're always sensing the right variable...
