Thanks alot man!
With those specs I'm ready to build my mini-mighty SSTC. I'm gonna use the interrupter from Steve Ward's mini coil.
Just two more questions:
1. I suppose the 100ohm resistor doesn't have to be changed if I use 2N2222/2N2905 in the totem pole?
2. Will IRFP240 work fine in place of IRF630?
(3. So the interrupter output is connected to CD4093 pin 4?)

Can't wait to get the parts! My secondary coil is 2cm diameter and 5cm high and the wire is around 35awg.

oh sry the pins of the second gate arent right ( because i couldnt find the right graphic 4 the 4093)
---pin4 is in real pin 5---pin 5 is in real pin 6 --- and pin6 is in real pin4-- :P
i dont know how much current the 2n... need at the gate, but i think the 100ohm resistor can stay
then instead of the irf630 u can use a couple of many other fets, also irfp240 :P

yes interrupter input is pin4 (in real pin 5 then ^^)

mh very small sec, i dont know if u get streamer

So can I possibly redraw the schematic (of course crediting your name) with the right pinouts and with interrupter and attach it here in this thread?
And about the performance with a small sec, look at what this guy did.

interrupter input is in this schematic pin 4, but in real its pin 5 of the cd4093

Hey, I've read about the cd4000 CMOS series be too slow to work reliably at fRes > 200kHz. My coil's fRes with the topload will be something between 2-4MHz. So does anybody have experiences of the Steve Conner PLL circuit with cd4046 at fRes of multiple MHz? My local electronics supplier doesn't have any other than the cd4000 series.

EDIT: Oops, I checked better and yes, they DO have 74HC4046. I'm likely gonna make the PLL circuit with a single mosfet or a half bridge, I'm also planning leaving the GDTs out 'cos I'm gonna put only 12V into the primary. I probably can get a small 12V lead acid battery with several Ah. And I have also to put a 5V regulator for the 74HC4046.

Here is the schematic that I came up with. So it uses 74HC132 instead cd4093 because of the somewhat higher frequency (~2.3MHz). So is there anything wrong with it? I would like to know that the scheme is correct before buying the parts.
