Dang, that is a bit out of my price range sad I can't justify spending 140 bucks on a toroid (and I do realize it's not a bad price, at all). Oh well, thanks anyway.

Oh come on you wusses! That's just a couple of hours' work, wash some cars or something! Polished copper AND seamless-soldered together, you can't beat that.

Daniel, I'll do two little ones for $50 if you can ship to Australia (for extra, of course). If you'd prefer a USA shipping address, I can organize that too.

True they are awesome, I only meant right now is a bad time.

I still want at least 2 of each but I'll have to wait till after I pay my INSANELY HUGE AND BLOATED MORGAGE! Ebay has drained my account this month. I have plans for a big coil.

Daniel,

If you can save two of each size for me for next month and can ship to the US that would be awesome. I don't wanna miss out.

Daniel -

Don't misunderstand the reasons behind my questions about your toroid fabrication process; I'm not a potential "competitor"! As an Engineer, I just like to understand the "details" of how something is made, especially when it comes out as nice as your toroids did. I'm familiar with industrial spinning processes, both manual & CNC, but just like laying down a visually perfect weld bead, manual spinning is part technology and part art. I'm surprised at how well your plain-ended "forming stick" worked, as many commercial forming tools use rollers at the end to prevent wrinkling or rippling the surface of the workpiece.

Daniel,

I would much like 1 large and 2 small if you would be so obliged. Your work is beautiful.

Hi all,

WOW, I didn’t think that it would be such a success!!!

The small ones I had is almost gone so I need to make some more, I’m starting a production of big and small toroids immediately!

If you are interested in the toroids, please send me an email.

I’m gone for the weekend, so don’t expect any replies before Sunday.

Cheers, Daniel

I received mine today, and I can only say, the pictures don't do them justice. 140 dollars might sound like a lot, but if you see them in person you'll understand. They are totally worth it.

Hi guys,

Any of this still living? I would need a smallish toroid for the incoming QCW experiment :)
