Yay, first cathode current! 30mA per tube at 475V plate voltage. Still got a lot of wiring to do before it'll make any sound, though. :|

yikes Steve. Is it only me who thinks this deserves to be shown as a featured project?
Ultimate proffesional and clean construction.

I have no clue how you create all the effects and things with just few tubes.

You definitely have one more thing to be proud with!

Well, I'm having great fun, but I just assumed people wouldn't be too interested since it doesn't give off huge sparks or explode. If anyone has any feelings either for or against writing this up as a featured project, post away!

BTW, I got the power amp working now, 40W with EL34s or 35 with 6L6GCs.

"Well, I'm having great fun, but I just assumed people wouldn't be too interested since it doesn't give off huge sparks or explode."

This is because there are many sparking kitty kabomb kids on this fourm.
When the amp is done, make shure you post some sound samples when it's done. Below I have a recording of me playing Back in Black with my tuber. Guitar is a strat style model.

Looks great. Would be much more fun to hear it though.
