This thread is pretty cool. Didnt realize there would be so many fellow HV enthusiasts that also played around with 3d rendering! I have had bryce3D for a few years and figured it out on my own (wow that was a learning curve!). I have created alot of stuff, most of wich isnt all the special, but my main interests were in my own design Mechwarrior's (like from the computer game), pod racers (like from star wars ep1) and modeling some of my HV projects.

Here is a coilgun with a partial cutaway view:

Here is an animation of the above gun loading and firing:

Here are a few of my mechwarrior designs:

And here is a pod racer:

And a simple tesla coil model:

And a RQ style sparkgap that I use:
Sparkgap4 Small

I have way more stuff on my website, too much to list here. Working on perfecting some animations too - a mechwarrior battle and a pod racer race and more. Most of my 3d stuff is on this page http://tristan.homelinux.net/graphics/index.htm

After modeling the mount to my diode bars in SolidWorks:

And after 10 minuted of messing around with photoworks, I came up with a somewhat realistic looking version (although it thinks it is a solid block of copper)

The nice thing about drawing it is that I can make it out of solid mirror polished gold ;)

Trivial and fake, but here goes ^^
I guess this counts as a "drawing"... or perhaps a "bastardization" or "waste of time" =-D
