Hi TB
the voltage is about 26.5v when the tubes are warm. Each lamp is sucking about 6A, so both together 12A .

According to these photos, to see that 11 VT burned.

Now I Explain, gave no time to turn off the Transformer to avoid burning them? suprised

i can't wait also to see it running, but the school is taking most of my time, and i don't have enough time. But I am pushing it forward - the new primary is ready and the MMC is mounted.

What do you need such monster bleed resistor for? suprised suprised I hope you are not going to lose xxx Watts in it while the coil is operating...

I also hope not be dissipating so much power in them, but if something go wrong they won't burn tongue . Actually the resistors are from an old projec, i just rewired them (and changed the burnt ones). People use 100-150W for 1500-2000W VTTC, so i decided to be on the safe side smile
