here :)

I pulled the 12AU 12AY 5751's 5814's out of a bunch of HP stuff a friend was dumping, and kept the 0A2's for the heck of it.

Could I use these for my power supply for the 2 12AX7s?

Absolutely. The 0A2's are fine for your rectifier, you have the filter caps, all you need are some 10-100K plate resistors and some 2-6.8K cathode resistors, chassis, decoupling caps, and you have 1 stage done. It's really easy.

yea, my cat made it into the shot.

There are a ton of things you can do for your system, like prototyping power supplies and stuff. Here's my little prototype supply because I didn't need a big heavy transformer, just a little 10mA or so source for the preamps.

You can also get fancy with power supply ripple elimination, one of my favorites, and hum-balance controls.

A hum-balance is chassis grounded to the wiper of a pot and each lead of your AC filiment line goes to the outer terminals. You adjust the pot until the hum fades. It does work, but getting rid of ripple in the B+ supply helps a lot more.
