the Delaytime is not within the bridge itself steve. the complete bridge is delayed 1,6µS. so just every igbt within the bridge has the same delaytime and that means no hard switching for 1,6µs. the delay is just between the input signal (Oprocoupler) and the output signal.
''Fine'' if you are going to use an external oscilator, but in real DRSSTC you are going to take feedback from the primary, right? Instead switching at zero cross your IGBT's are going to hard switch badly.
The delays of large IGBT's themselves are troubling enough, and these additional 1.6us look *bad*.
This was a main reason why people avoid optocouplers on their gate drive.

mh okay, that is one point. :P So i´ll have a look at some faster optoisolators or switch back to a signal transformer. The Delay of the driver itself is in the range of around 100 to 200nS
Another thing that comes in mind is to delay the feedback signal itself for 1 cycle and the additional 1,6µs delay or so to get "in phase"
