I have used banks of up to 8 of these but they are not really suitable for pulse discharge stuff and will die readily. Ths resistive load of the potatoe is much kinder than the inductive load of a can crusher for example. Commercial pulse caps like Steve's are much more reliable. I have a bank of these which I have run to 5kJ out of a rated 16kJ for exploding wires and other stuff on my site.
