So I am almost finished with my project, with my reworked ZVS driver, I get about 1" acrs, which is fine for this Jackob's Ladder, and i want my flyback to last. Ok, enough with the chit-chat, i know you want to see some pics. (This thing is really hard to take pics of)

looks nice, but I think you need a bigger power cord
I wouldn't worry about the ozone; unless you start to see the plastic turning brown... Most professional jl displays I have seen are in an enclosed plastic box...

I would worry about the plastic lid at the top of the ladder. More clearance would be desirable as that plastic would tend to receive a lot of hot air from the ladder itself. Secondly, Jacobs ladders generate heat anyway and ventilation would be best; you also get to hear the sound from it that way.

I've been meaning to do similar. I've had a 12" OD lexan tube for ages now and still haven't really put it to use. Finishing projects is really a blight for me.
Present plan: Make an 8' tall oak almost-grandfather clock-ish JL at 500W+ and glass front with mirror behind. TV remote to operate, point and press button and it arcs. It will have some nice ceramic standoffs to secure the electrodes too, its just hard finding 3/16" x 8' stainless rod for me.

how would you stabalise the electrodes? 8' at 3/16" O.D. they would wobble like crazy, just from the h.v. alone, any kind of stabalisers coming off them would disrupt the arc.
well anyway, i ran it today for ~30 sec and the diodes got extremely hot, they are on a heat sink and a fan blows right on them
