Hi,
I’m finishing my PhD in molecular biology. I’m originally from Czech rep. but at the moment I’m working for Danish Cancer Society in Copenhagen. My specialization is DNA damage and repair and its relevance to cancer (lot of work with X-rays and pretty nasty chemicals…) I’m also something like an inventor – at the moment I have two laboratory machines in the patent process… shades
I always played with electronics during my free time. I’ve built few audio-amps for my musical friends and I had also a part time job during my studies when I was taking care of all the machines of the biophysics department of my university (Apparently I was the only one there capable to change the fuses and do some simple soldering work wink ).
HV started to be an obsession after I run into this forum (despite my first tesla coil I built was like 15 years ago and it was small car-coil based SGTC). My future plans after I finish my PhD: I will run my own small lab back in Czech rep (4-5 people). Here, I’d like to start some cooperative research on DNA damage induced by high energy particles from particle accelerators and finally join my two big scientific loves (biology and electricity) together.

Cheers,
Mates

I got a B in my robotics class, although I don't think I really deserve such a high mark for my performance. It was the best I could do, but it still wasn't great. Anyhow, it looks like i've graduated, and as soon as I get my security clearance I'll be puttering around Northrop.

I work as a transformer manufacturer, my task is mostly current transformers but i also do assembly and electrical connections of transformers, even winding of the cores.
