I have been away for a little while due to the new gig (I travel alot now). I graduated from Law School last semester and I am now working for a large oil company, as a national sales manager no less. Its funny how life works out. I always intended to be an attourney and now I am making more money than someone with an LLM doing something completly different than what I went to school for.

I just got an offer letter back from Ortel for the summer, complete with a 25% raise shades Making a full $12/hr now, not bad for a 17/yo.

So.... I'm no longer a student... *gasp*

What to do now? omg omg omg... take a deep breath.

So my first job out of kolij is to build a time lapse photography system for video output to be used on construction sites. Then I'll be designing an 18,000 sqft Japanese garden. ....

*shrug*

Whatever.

maybe I can put a Tesla coil in the garden?

Getting a new and better job is always great, even if the benefit is marginal. Congrats.

What do you do for them?

I'm a wheel operator, I haven't been told exactly what i do yet, but from what I gather, I'll be operating and maintaining a mold blower. It grabs a plastic form heats it up and blows air into while its inside a mold, there by making it proper shape. Will give more details when I get more info.

I'm a software engineer by degree, profession. Used to be a software hobbyist too, but the 'day job' aspect kind of took over. I seek refuge working on electrical projects these days, which is why I'm here, though I have precious little free time. I lust after the kind of free time I had in college and cover my eyes when I think of how I spent it angry

Cheers,
Aaron, N7OE
