I have no idea of what else of mine you deleted, or whether it exhibited the terrible high crime of being "off topic."

Please tell me here and now the second thing you deleted, not hidden away on private mail where nobody knows what you're doing.
From the log of deleted posts on the moderators forum:
Mon Apr 02 2007, 12:57PM
Bill Beaty in "Runaway breakdown" for creating *really* long sparks
He was complaining about the off topic part of his post going missing.
That is the only of your posts that is logged as deleted, that post and the edit of the post before is the only thing that has been removed or changed of your posts as far as I know.

Also I note that you privately accused CM of being a conspiracy theorist. His crime? CM is obviously a conspiracy theorist because... he thinks that "noobslapping" is a long tradition encouraged on 4HV.
That is correct, it is a complete figment of his imagination. Failing to read and follow the rules then blaiming everything on "noobslapping" should not be neccesary for grown up people.

Damn conspiracy theorist. They're not wanted here, eh? Why don't you just ban him and be done?
We had a vote and we did. If you look further up this thread you will find his last ranting post that tipped the scale and later his sending off message.

So are you now going to edit my message to remove this "off topic" sentence? Please do so, and then I can leave permanently.
This is on the chatting forum and we are relaxed about staying on topic here, it is supposed to be a social thing.

AH! I know what you deleted. It was in chat I think. It was an explanation of the ancient academic standard of the sanctity of the written word. About university people seeing as a genuine criminal act ANY modification of their words, and I suggested that you contact PHYS-L forum of 700 university level physicsts to get their opinion about what you've been doing to my messages on 4HV. Please post that deleted material here. Or for some reason are you afraid of what I said?
The post you are refering to is here: Link2 Please read the last post in that thread and try to view it from our point of view. I don't edit or delete anything for fun. It is tiresome and unpaid work and the only payback I get is abuse from grumpy people that in 99.9% of the cases have nothing to blame but themselves.

Okay, let's summarize. You've had one post deleted, one post modified, and one thread moved, all in accordance with the rules you promised to follow and be bound by when you registered here. Now you're unhappy, and the rules that have worked fine for years should change.

Is that what you really expect? For everyone to completely change everything, to please you? This is not a paying job, this is a community that many people invest time and effort into, because it's something they believe in. I won't be tearing it all apart for you.

Since it's obvious both by your actions and the tone of your message that you have no intention of following our rules, or contributing anything positive, you are no longer welcome here. Sorry it didn't work out.

When the board went through periods like this before I was left thinking that the moderators weren't doing enough to stem the tide...

...Not this time, however! Right now I'm surrounded by a feeling of warmth; its like a big blanket, a cup of hot chocolate, and my favorite slippers, all in one. I love you mods.

So now that that is over, can I introduce you guys to a new thread about my new idea for a new type of stacked capacitor that that produces thrust and is run from a CD motor that I have turned into a generator that produces 1.8x more power than put in? It's really great. I have some Jean guy in France on another page doing the testing for me. *ducks cabbage and tomatoes being thrown from the crowd*

it wont work cos the bottom plate is the same size as the top plate so teh forces from the top plate and bottom plate cancel out stopping the thrust my design is better

Yeah, I'm glad this is over.
