For their size UV lamp is like nuclear bomb radioation, no wonder if they dont survive long dead cheesey

IIRC the UV lamp is how scientists usually find most study specimens in the first place.

I was rather impressed with a demonstration of their digging instincts. It showed scorpions can survive temperatures that will cook other creatures.

Dont know, never tried to cook scorpion with UV lamp cheesey

If they cannot hide i doubt that scorpion would last forewer under that lamp...

Supposedly you can freeze a scorpion solid and he will still live when thawed. I heard it on NOVA or something. Haven't seen a scorpion since, they probably know what I'd do...
