Humans are emotional beings and as such are simply in need of intimate relationships from time to time...
Well, I must also admit that BP may be overpricing his variac a bit, obivously he doesn't want to sell it.
Just right here I can buy a brand new 10 amp one with digital voltage display, for just under $130. And in most cases 10 amp one should be plenty unless you are eally in pole pig area.
On ebay I just saw several used 20amp's for $100-ish buy-it-now.
Shipping to australia is trouble whatsoever!
