A mini SSTC I was just playing around with, and a big lightbulb. It made some weird cool pale flame inside the glass. I guess it has to do with the type of gas in there or something because I haven't seen a lightbulb glow this way (looks alot cooler in person).

I remember that one, It was made by one of our members along time ago. Not a glory moment.....I looked for it but can't find it although I did find there, and I'm sure they're worse.

Hey, Flip Flops are good for at least 3kv, but do not let your toes hangover, Hee hee.
(scary stuff however, are people really that crazy, ugggggggg) angry

cheers,

loool
Me and my friend did that some time ago. tongue
And the MOT's weren't even connected to mains.
We used the arc welder as a power supply.
I know it looks stupid and dangerous, but I knew what I was doing. And the part where one MOT smokes, that happend because the wires that we used for the primary started overheating due to the high currents.

[EDIT]: It was fun reading all the stupid comments people posted. angry

Steve's musical Tesla coil has 112,000 hits now on Youtube.
I am trying hard to catch him with my smoke ring generator at 101,000 hits.
My Car Thief protection is languishing at 40,000.
Sometimes my videos don't do much. This is the Easter Bunny one at only 300 hits. I guess I should bring it out before Easter next time ....
