I was going to make an 8051 based 'bomb' that you had to diffuse for christmas morning. The load would be a box of See's candy, and you would have to follow strange and incorrect diagrams from ex Russian manuals to get at it.

It all starts off with an ex-Russian crate leaking glowstick green gel, with spraypainted Russian words that nobody understands. You open the crate and the 'bomb' is there with the misprinted manual.....a thousand pages long! With diagrams and procedures misspelled and information that doesnt even belong in there, like radio schematics and stuff.
After it boots up, you have to find your way around the laser grid, cut wires, disconnect a hard drive, disable relays, all before the heating element damages the chocolates! Meanwhile the voice playback is saying 'Ouch" for every wire cut, and a scrolling led sign reads out "NO STOP! Dont cut that!" and other messages.

It was going to be a fun gift that we were going to give to my uncle...because we give him gifts that are silly and crazy, but from recent events and legalities I can't do it.

Matt

LOL that's an awesome idea hazmatt...

But heat element damaging the chocolates? Nooooes!
Lower the receiver's entitlement to the chocolates for each slipup, I say. ^^

....WOW....

Talk about a death wish suprised

I personally prefer to be back at least 100' when anything of mine leaves the ground... I wouldn't trust anything I made with my life wink

hmm...
Check out the 'in the works' page... 30kn/s of pure power... Or even better trybrid goodness :-]...

I am somewhat worried, their site has been down for years now... It would be sad to seem them die, they pioneered the hybrid motor that many (I can name 3 off the top of my head) companies have imitated.

Unless I got the wrong web address, I didn't find a helpful site there.. I gather they don't do sushi.

He was making fun of Taco Bell (a chain Mexican wannabee restaurant) for having found some of their vegetables infected with e coli.
