You don't need AC

Yup, that needle seemed to vibrate moment before it stuck to 'coil' but as I watched few times again it seems to be just it's own oscillation.

Board seems to be, although a bit strange, a PC power supply concluding by output choke.

And even if he didn't have a bunch poly batteries he could easily fit quite big battery inside that 'transformer', as said.

Things are speculative though.

The next question is. Why would someone go out of there way to do this?

Should I click on the "Flag as innappropriate" button?

I see a new contest on the horizon. "Fool the internet"

Objective: Make a fantastical device to fool the internet into thinking you are the answer to all the worlds energy problems.

Rules: The more fantastic the better
Use lots of "%" signs, they seem to make your point more valid
If you can, invent a place for your energy to come from that no one has heard of. (Uses radio waves to steal electrons or uses the rotation of the earth around the sun to form a generating vortex)

The winner will be the first one mentioned on CNN, GO!

(Just incase you thought I was serious, I'm not wink )

pretty stupid if you ask me . . .

If you want to do something more impressive, search youtube for the Jumping Gemini card trick. Its a simple trick (although takes practice and good mechanics) and MUCH MUCH more effective with good WOW factor.

By all means flag it as inappropriate if you like, or leave some comments telling what a load of BS it is. But on the one hand, these free energy guys are usually somewhat wrong in the head, or deliberate scammers, and it's pointless arguing with them and may even rebound on you. On the other hand again, the public need to be warned against bad science.

The public only need to be warned of one thing "If it looks too good to be true, then it probably is."
Just remember that "common sense" is the reason that people stick to the speed limit. There's not a lot anyone can do for some people- they are just born to be suckers.

The lightbulb in the mouth (ala Fester) is much better. Don't need the suitcase or fancy parts. Just a lightbulb and a battery.
