So, its making energy from.... confused ....magic or magnets?

I vote magic. How does one create electricity with no moving parts and a permanent, stationary magnet? Obviously its got batteries stashed somewhere.

Any arguments/flames/real pseudo-science pops up in this thread, and its going away with a quickness. Just making it clear right off the bat.

It's probably making energy from all the double-A batteries inside that big redundant transformer, then using a cheap inverter (with its cover off, for extra wow-factor).

They could easily sandwich a bunch of these Polaroid "Polapulse" batteries in the sides of the case. They are only 4mm thick, light and will easily supply 1A at 6V for a while. You would find it easy to stash 20 of these no problem.

sorry for the horrible picture quality,I have to use my sons toy camera, mine is hoplessly lost or stolen.

He must have these behind the panel. If you look closly, you can see one of the yellow wires from the panel run strait to the outlet. The other must complete the circuit underneath the tranny somewere. Everything else in the box is for looks.

And yes, it seems that AC output of the inverter is used for 'OMG magnetic field' effect with that coil...

Wow how cheap is this?
There are a few Li-Poly cells in the lid and the light bulb is a 24v-Type (or even lower voltage, though i only know 24v-bulbs in standard household size) and the coil probably is connected to them to (or even just has a permanent magnet core)...

You don't need AC for "OMG mag field" :P

All the stuff could be REALLY redundant... but tell me, why does he have TWO wires going to the antenna? Eh, eh? Why not ground the metal case so all the wiring can be neater? Eh, eh?

Yes that magic magnet thing is just a Nd magnet in a copper tube.

And the reason that he has 2 wired coming from the 'antenna' is either that the batteries are hidden in there, or that 99.672% of the people that would see the video would say "you need 2 wires for any electricity to flow"
