I have a P6015 and the compensation is performed at sig-gen levels e.g. +/- 10V there is negligible change in performance at higher voltages, so no need for a high voltage signal generator.
My general purpose diy hv resistors use 46x VR37 resistors in series for 100 MOhm each, for d.c. and 50 Hz, I've not measured their high frequency characteristics.
