I've had a rummage through my VRs and couldn't find anything close to the specs in the circuit diagram.
Thanks for pointing out the 135V limit, PM. I can't say I've really studied the datasheet yet. I'm aware of the 300V limit when triode strapped.
I think Chris said something about adjusting VR2 and VR3 until the voltage across R2 is about 140V. He does reccomend using a floating winding, and just tying one end to the cathode.
I think I have some VR's that are close enough.
