Grenz rays - the ultra-super-duper soft that interest me - cannot even penetrate kitchen foil. It's a bit like amateur radio below 10kHz - the legendary 8.9kHz band - where a tiny number of enthusiasts have sent messages back and forth from England to Germany and thereby achieved the 'impossible.'

Will probably xray one "fiddy's flyback". Just need to keep it in the car for when I get the ocasion. Or maybe will use a tv flyback as it actually has something inside (diodes )
