What if we use meat from an animal after it dies of natural causes?
And if you want to split hairs, the bacteria never gave their permission to be genetically modified.

Nobody seems to have told them that a well built fire is carbon neutral; produces less greenhouse gases than composting and produces a valuable fretiliser. Not many people that likes to set fire to things knows anything about "well built" or what to not throw on the fire.
When some moron sets fire to all the crap he has collected during the last year, all the nasty bits of it come down somewhere else. This picture shows smoke that has travelled more than a thousand km in just a few days. This smoke is from a forest fire but everyday pollutants do the same thing.
