I watched it, it's interesting.
I read a few years ago that neutrinos, which were thought to be massless, aquire mass if they travel through a medium that has mass, ie, they have no mass in a vacuum.
I assumed this was due to their interaction with the medium, due to the medium's interaction with the Higgs field.

Also relevant, there is still no explanation for the variation in half lives in some isotopes just before solar flares, the current consensus is that some as yet unknown particle is causing the effect.
EDIT:
Could provide an interesting interpretation for the BICEP2 data which would suggest new physics.
I have some intriguing thoughts about unifying QM with GR, the main problem as it stands is that when gravity is added to existing unification theories it requires renormalization to get meaningful results. If there is a massive Higgs super-partner at (I suspect) >230GeV with weak negative rather than strong positive gravitational effects in empty space ie away from large masses and their space-time curvature then this could solve expansion without resorting to exotic concepts like a fifth force and the entire model would become far more elegant.
It could also solve the mystery of where all the antimatter is, maybe the SH particle causes it to become stable due to the opposing electrical charges, forming long lived particle/antiparticle pairs in a nearly non interacting state.
As for QM, once those infinities become a non issue a lot of the existing equations start to make sense.
