Only spend when working on projects. High voltage I got thousands into and I have well over 2K invested in my quadcopter FPV system.

So....a lot. Lately nothing due to college..I use to spend my paychecks every week sometimes though breaking even heh

Not really much for the amount of things I get... cheesey Fortunately, here (in Czech Republic) you can still get rare parts (vacuum tubes, RF ceramic caps etc) for little money, if you know where to look for and if you can afford to wait.

Agreed with Dr DC. There are still cheap thingies coming from east.
Around 200-300 $ /year (mostly IGBT/FET parts).

Buying lots of stuff, selling some of it, over 6 years its about 1000 Euro spent each year.

But at this point I have also built up a respectable electronics lab with lots of parts.

Hi ASHPoD
What do you use Adobe CS6 Pro for?

I draw, for the most part. I mostly use Photoshop and Illustrator, but I can use all the programs fairly decently.

Too much. Even with all of the components I have salvaged over the years there is always that one part that you don't have and end up shelling out cash for.

@ASHPoD You paid for an adobe product? Ouch.

Who says I paid for it? I'm 16! My dad buys all my crap teehee!

I am mostly into audio related things now, building amplifiers, designing speakers, stuff of that nature. I usually spend 100-150/week, making 465/week

Lucky, I started getting into electronics when I was 13 (19 now) and my parents have very rarely bought me anything to support my hobby. On the rare occasion that my dad will bring me home something, it's usually a container of heat shrink or some wire. Which is much appreciated don't get me wrong, but yeah, I'm jealous.

I tend to spend between $10 and $100 a month on electronics; depending on what my current project is. It's more towards the $10 range though. I'm a poor college student who is in a lot of debt.

I got into it at age 10, really started doing stuff at age 12. My dad used to be into electronics (I actually developed an interest independently), so he actually yells at me if I don't finish a project.
