Injuries by stingrays aren't supposed to be that rare, it's copping a lethal blow to the chest that is. Newspapers have reported that Steve's only the third recorded stringray death in Australian history.

In my dos and don't of Tesla coiling I previously stated that you should not hold your baby up to a Tesla coil. He copped a lot a bad publicity in Oz for that. He was really much better known in the USA than here. I don't recall seeing his shows here but then I don't get to watch much TV.

As I said before, getting stabbed in the chest by a stingray isn't all that uncommon . . .
