You can purchase a used step down xfrmr on ebay for next to nothing. A 480VAC to 240VAC control transformer will work fine for 300VAC to 150VAC.

You could even just rewind a MOT transformer(or three) for that ratio. Just rip out the secondary, find some magnet wire good for your peak load current, and put on half of the primary turns. I forget how much power they’re good for per core...
