You can purchase a used step down xfrmr on ebay for next to nothing.
A 480VAC to 240VAC control transformer will work fine for 300VAC to 150VAC.

If you ain't too afraid of exploding parts, and have lots of caps.

a charge pump should be able to convert 300VDC to 150VDC.

I can get alot of caps. But how much exactly? Why would the thing blow up? And inform me more about that charge pump?

You could even just rewind a MOT transformer(or three) for that ratio. Just rip out the secondary, find some magnet wire good for your peak load current, and put on half of the primary turns. I forget how much power they’re good for per core...
