It was a good event, thanks go to Derek for organising it all.

My Stubby coil performed reliably with 7" arcs and it was really good to meet up with known faces as well as new ones. Great to see Anders, bennem and Pete there too :)

If anyone has photos of my gear, please contact me here via this thread, PM or email as I'd like to expand the collection of photos on my site. Full credit will be given on the site of course. I will be posting my pics to my website before too long

Anyone for Derby? ;)
James

I got maybe 10-20 pictures of your coil. The coil is blurry on a lot of them, as I used long exposures and no tripod for the camera, but the sparks look very nice, with a very visible banjo effect. To where should I send them?

Hi Anders, hope you has a safe journey home.

If you have any of my coil, can you make them available for download on the internet? If that is too difficult, please send them to james at pawson dot plus dot c o m

Derek: you've got my coil listed as a CW coil on your site - not so, it was running interrupted so it's just a plain SSTC.

Thanks
James

Wee, the Gaussfest rocked, it was great to meet some more people and the coils and other strange equipment put on a really nice show for everyone, so thanks to all the coilers and Derek for organizing the event!
I have uploaded what photos I had, but have yet to process and upload to my website, but for now, see Derek's HF Jacob's ladder of doom!

Edit > fixed link, more photos too: http://www.petezel.org/photos/conv/ngf07/

Regards,
Pete

A year has gone by already, scary how fast time goes. Two and a half weeks left until this year's Gaussfest. Who here has planned attending?

I'm going, with a Jacobs rather than a TC.

I'll also have some hardware that I want to re-home that might be of interest to SSTCers, ferrite transformers, heatsinks etc, and a few other electronicy things. Almost any offer acceptable if it goes to a 4HV member or similar appreciative customer.
