 		Because I'm trying to keep it as cheap as possible I decided to replace the MOCs with some homemade HV caps (using this information: Link2,_3.5_nF ). Now the stored energy is much more gentle to diodes. I even test it without ballast and it works good with very slight heating.
I guess I'll keep it that way (I did the grounding too), thanks for the help guys, any other suggestions are welcomed! :)
