***1st off , the book > "fantastic inventions of N Tesla" by adventures unlimited = NOT RECOMMENDED = I GOT ROBBED!!!!

Ive heard of "Prod Genius " j oniell , I dont really want to read about the person any more than Tesla would want to read about me!

"Inv Research + writtings" sounds better, might be the go for me.

US navy definitely has some pingers to play with ...mind you thats YOUR tax dollars !
unbeleivable scale of stuff they have and I bet it gets scapped so no HV peasant gets it.

Man has always (ok....a few weirdos) wanted to harness the lightning ,even the ancients with their mythology = THOR etc

check this out , pretty much everyone on this site wants to get as close as poss to replicat what natures doing. for me its frickin awesome looking at storms not that Im a chaser.

I thought westinghouse was teslas mate? i thought it was another guy who was keen to put a meter on things.

Itd be absolutely pointless to fund T tower today because we have the dist grid and gen methods AND its been proven radio waves reflect and bounce and absorb etc
But Im sure Tesla knew that ...he was in colorado , Id say it was 24/7 study observation

Lightning is the only example of Raw high energy hv electricity we see as an observer = without putting input.
coal/deisel/wind/inverter/hydro/solar/ nuclear all obviously required a bit of energy and engineering to build the initial structure , but lightning is the only one which is the primary stuff we want in the first place.

It cant be said that its impossible , only that it is UN tapped ,Unutilised .

by the way seen tesla downunder site? luv to do or watch that stuff ,great work I say

I'm sorry Scott, but most of us here who do research already know that Tesla's hand writings for the most part are pathetically illegible, and had to be re-copied so that a human being could read what he had to say. See the copy of CSN, Typed buddy, not hand written, case closed.

Some pictures to prove that I don't just sit in an arm chair bloviating about the subject, but I'm also not claiming to be the "God" of Tesla information,
I just research what has been captured over some years.
I hope to be able to apply some of my theories in the future, but presently I am sidetracked with work and other projects.

CSN 1899-1900 is a good buy, but you have to understand the language of the time.

I also like Transient Electric Phenomena ISBN 1-933998-26-1
Inductance Calculations ISBN 0-486-49577-9

The Theory and design of Inductance Coils by Welsby

And the must beyond musts, Radio Engineering Handbook by Terman

Indeed the CSN as published is (mostly) type written, but that was a convenience for the reader and had nothing to do with Tesla's original notes. You assertion that his "assistants took down most of the information" is not correct. He held his cards tight to his chest and was most cautious when it came to assistants and what he shared.

You are right that worldwide wireless power transmission was his goal, he repeatedly stated this. Granted, as Steve stated, it took many decades to explain what he observed that fateful July night but his interpretation was still wrong. I suggested the Anderson book as it shows, in man's own words, how he had doubled down on his beliefs even in the face of mounting evidence to the contrary.

There is much hyperbola surrounding Tesla, he started that himself. Thanks for the deity status but I'll have to pass...

that pic of books would have to be $800 or there abouts. i BOUGHT an indian motor cycle book from amazon a few weeks ago US$24.88 by the time it got in my hot little hands.....5 weeks
it had put me back nz$54!!
come to think of it , Ive been stung alot when it comes to books...and unlucky, its a wonder I havent been struck by lightning myself.

theres not alot of tesla books here , the only ones are UFO types , the one I got goes into venusians and the face on mars, I really dont care what power gen they have.
It has early NT lecture and the court case basically.

I did read "Electricity" by Robert Ferguson 1867 , I had to learn victorian language first ,then be aware that current ran the other way. I have to say it stunk! .....no really it was old
AND it predated Tesla!! there was a generator and maybe faraday by memory...

Id imagine Tesla would have flambouyant hand writting but then that was the style, our hand writting would look like robot work to them.
but I do think hed be secretive and misleading, why? = interlectual property.
his experience with edison screwing him over = once bitten twice shy.

I dont trust my assistants! well if I had any.
I might have a look at haithi trust. com , they have old books scanned.

His personal goal was wirelessly powering his 'flying machine', everything else he achieved was just a by-product of achieving this goal. He stated this himself in at least one interview. (I'll try and find a link).

Paris, some of them can set you back quite a bit, but it doesn't have to if you know what you're doing.

I was once trying to obtain a copy of TCBOR guide to the Colorado Springs Notes, and the seller wanted $200 for the copy!

But you don't have to pay that much for it. I haven't looked at Lindsay Publications for a while now, but most of those books should still be available on their site for reasonable prices.

It's a good site too because they have all kinds of out of print books, and lots of information, if it's still up, I'm not sure.

Edit: I went to their site and it looks like they've stopped publishing, and it's a real shame too. They were probably the best source for obscure material on the net.

You may be able to contact Richard Hull directly of TCBOR and get a copy of the CSN Guide, but if you want it, you better act now because this stuff is getting rare!

Just read my last post , I really do need to use spell check.

heres haithi trust .... electricity by robert ferguson 1868.
To get into the groove of the book and the overall feel of the era you may want to wear tights and a wig like everyone else at the time....

Note; last time I looked the old bat librarian who scanned the book had her thumb across some pages but I have original scans I have done myself from the copy I read.

heres pic from the NT book of submarine which is proof of his concept of using signals whish we utilise today ,most recently a few days ago top gear UK had a terraMax offroad truck ,
BUT the sub and every other example also have on board power supply so it still doesnt cover the energy transmission weve all been told about
