 		Is the secondary of the coil grounded?
Is the NST "electronic transformer" that provides high voltage at hi frequency? If so your capacitor bank produce a short circuit to the NST.
If so, two microwave oven rectifier between the NST and the bank solve the problen
Reduce the bank capacitance, only one serial leg...
