Oooh! Blue AND Red. Cool. I'm green with envy.

Maybe I'll buy a chainmail suit too....

beautiful performance with twin coils. thick arcs prove power and big capacity.

I'd like to know as well.

Now if the US presidential debates had been with Obama (blue) and Romney (red) on top those coils, it would have been much more entertaining cheesey

Hopefully my humor does not violate the 4hv forum policies.

Jeff

What is interesting if the additional capacitance that is added when they climb up on the toploads, so coils had to be tuned with them up there?

Also looks like the coils are 180 out of phase, wonder if they had one transmission line or coils are running exact FO….

Wonder what the material was made of for the ladders? confused

Exact same questions I was pondering.
I supposed the coils were operating in sync together 180 degrees out of phase, with resonant Fo being relatively close to the driven frequency.

The top load capacitance may be based on the surface area of the individual.

And they're producing a lot of output power.

Regards, Jeff

And the ladder I figured was made of sch40 PVC components, assembled into a step ladder.
