It might have taken him 4 years to find a new idea for a stunt, but it took us about 2 months to design and build 8 tesla coils for this job. Talk about rushing around!

Im just relieved that its almost over! I can stop having dreams about tesla coils breaking down!

Congrats on the show Steve! :) I bet Blaine was praying for the coils to break down towards the end.

Congrats Steve!
The performance is a real endurance test both for human and tesla coils.
For human ,I think the most difficult part is having no sleep for 3 days .I suppose Blaine drinks lot of coffee...As concerns coils ,it would be interesting to know how much power and energy per single shoot one of the coils can withstand before structural breakdown.

Regards

Who cares about David Blaine. Was never a fan anyways. tongue

The real feat here is the engineering behind the Tesla Coils. Way to go Steve!!! As an engineer, i can appreciate the difficulty in this especially with the tight schedules and all the oversight i'm sure!

Hey, you know the new Tesla museum?

It is going to be in the shape of a giant Tesla coil, right? Right??
