1. Tesla (obviously)

Not in any particular order: Freud (psychologist, but still. He was awesome.), Gregor Mendel (we owe genetics to him), Michael Faraday (because he's badass), Daguerre (we owe cameras to him), Pavlov (because his experiment was awesome), Benjamin Franklin (for obvious reasons), obviously Stephen Hawking (still surprisingly living), Marie Curie (because she's a female scientist from the time females weren't praised to be scientists). Oh, and the guy who invented Twinkies. :P

What about ancient history?
Pythagorus, Archimedes, Hero of Alexandria, etc.
Rumour has it that they got their knowledge from reading even older scripts dating from over 6K years ago, detailing alchemical techniques and herbalism, medicine, etc.

Which makes me wonder what these ancient scientists and alchemists would think of our modern world...
