RG-8 for high voltage transmission?

I do not thin kthat RG6 will handle as much voltage as RG213/ RG8 from what I see it is CABLE tv coax 70 Ohms Characteristic impedance doesn't matter for high voltage work although the capacity per foot is less the higher the impedance. As far as I know the 70 ohm version of RG8/ RG213 is RG11.
The RG6 should be ok to 10kV
