Yes, I use primary current feedback. The first DRSSTCs used secondary base current feedback, but I showed that the phase shift between primary and secondary could vary over a full 180 degrees depending on the loading, and tried my hardest to persuade other DRSSTC builders to switch to primary feedback. Now everyone uses it, saving a lot of IGBTs from pointless death.
The interesting thing is that secondary base current feedback reverses the relationship between tuning and operating pole, so if you tuned the primary below the secondary, it would oscillate on the upper pole frequency.
