Hi Zilipoper :)
I had again a close look at your pics and videos, and here is how I see your circuit (I might be wrong or missing something of course) :
It is just like if you took you secondary out of your primary and put it next to it, then used a few turns of very thick wire to couple your primary and secondary... why not... max current is flowing at bottom of secondary...
But what I don't get is this capacitor made of two plates of copper, with some big ceramic capacitors between them, and some additional doorknob capacitors added in parralel (for capacitor fine tuning ?).
The thing is it seems both ends of your thick wire are connected to the upper copper plate, and it seems nothing is connected to the lower copper plate... weird.
Am I close to it ?
PS: I had a look at GMI-14B specifications... Pulse tetrode 36kV 165A peak current 600W dissipation... Woaw, impressive ^^

Ohh, I see ^^ I thought to that, but on the first pics you posted it really seems both ends of the thick wire go to the upper plate of the capacitor... anyway, hard to see on a single pic ...
Interesting circuit !... will it work on a smaller coil (like a 811A one) ?
