Here is another small coil just slightly over mini and way under medium size, it has the same old 7.5kv30ma NST and a new 9nf mmc
It has a 1200t sec and a 4 t primary
largest output 3" and 5" when used in a twin system
topload is a pingpong ball covered in alu foil

Jon Edenburg Nov 30 2004

This is Jon Edenberg's coil, presumably the worlds southernmost coil and completely constructed in the Australian Mawson Base in the Antarctic.
The construction is very neat.
Power is 6 MOT's
Tank cap 29.5uF rolled poly in oil
Primary 8T
Sec 6 x ??
Turns ?
Fres 154kHz
Toroid Foam ?30 x 70cm and ?20 x 50cm
Sparks 4.5 - 5 feet
