My first spark gap tesla coil. It is powered by a 7.5kv nst and a 50nf at 10kv mmc. the max spark is about 3.5" with 4" streamers to a grounded object

SGTC

Made by me for display in Nikola Teslas birth house in Smiljan:

Secondary: 160 mm, 1000 turns of 0.1 mm double insulated HV wire
Primary: 6 mm copper wire
Capacitors: Maxwell X 4
HV transformer: Custom made 10 kV 100 mA
Spark gap: Series copper pipes

I replicated one more exactly same for History museum of Croatia. Spark length 1.5 m. Foirst one operate for more than one year where visitors turn it ON and OFF as much they want without any fails.

My first working SSTC. Based on Steve Conner's PLL driver, runs from half-wave rectified mains, secondary fres 500kHz, secondary height = 20cm. Needs primary tuning, but I consider it complete for the time being. Link2 Link2

My first SSTC, it's basically Steve's Micro SSTC, but I replace the TC4420 with UCC37322 and add an interrupter. The interrupter is the same as the one used in Steve's Class-E.

It runs from a 30VDC, secondary frequency is unknown yet.(taken from my old SGTC) Topload is a stainless steel sphere(2inches in radius). With interrupter, streamers reach 4cm while IRFP460 staying cold.

My first half bridge SSTC. It's almost the same as Steve W's MiniSSTC. However I use 2 ucc37322s since I only have them.

It runs on full wave 110v main.

I am still using the secondary wound for my last MicroSSTC, it's 19cm in height.(30 cm with breakout point; 41cm with stainless steel sphere)

secondary freq is around 615khz

When using a sphere as topload, sparks reach 14cm.
