So the first day went well. Good group of people to work with. I happened to start just when they were moving one of there warehouses up the street, so I was put one packaging duty. Lesson of the day: cores can be very heavy :)
I was told ambiguously by the boss that I'll start learning PCB design on Friday (one of the engineers said probably for DC power supplies), so they are really throwing me in the deep end :p should be interesting

All jobs throw you in the deep end, it's called "Training".
I'm a Control Systems Engineer and I had to teach myself RF in 6 months on the job!
But at least we have the transformer formulae in our Wiki, ... thanks to yours truely.
