I installed a button at the maze entry point, put in a minecart track that takes the user around the admin area once they finish (and since this is in a survival world it makes getting around easier).
Also, the server hardware ended up not getting the upgrades over the weekend. They have been pushed to mid-december due to some planning and budget issues.
Hello everyone i have recently been working on a new zombie survival map and with DaJJHman's permission i have decided to post it on the minecraft thread so anyone who is interested can test it and give me feedback.
For anyone who has played Call Of Duty Black Ops this map should look familiar because it is based on the Kino Der Toten zombie map and most of the same rules apply.
The map itself is currently only about 50% complete but i will be posting updates as i get more don so have fun.
This map must be played on minecraft 1.4.2 + ]c.o.d_zombie_map_v0.3.0a.zip[/file]
have you considered using the new command blocks in your maze i have been playing with them in single player and there are so nanny uses for them when building a survival map and i actually used a lot of them in my zombie survival map.
which reminds me has anyone played that yet because i'm still weighting for some feedback.

I haven't even looked at the command blocks at all yet, I kinda ignored the latest updates... minecraft has been slipping farther out of my mind as I've been getting busier.
I still haven't had too much time, since I got back from working out of state I have had to be available round the clock for family stuff. After Christmas day I'll finally have time to sit down with it and play through.

My business just upgraded our machines with a fresh install of the OS and more reliable drives, but the minecraft startup script is having issues. It should be running currently, but I will have to take it back down this next weekend for a little while to put in a real fix for the issue.

4HV has a server!? Have you guys looked into the FTB modpack? It has logic gates, power circuits, and high voltage! I ran a tekkit server (depreciated, replaced by FTB) at my engineering college and a bunch of engineers with a new tech tree in minecraft gets amazing. 4HV user Goodchild was on our server and he made a 5 story nuclear powered factory!

Looks interesting. Maybe I'll run a secondary server for this. I'm starting to make use of my extra IP addresses with some virtual machines, so maybe I'll set aside a little bit of space for it.
EDIT: also hearing from multiple people about a FTB server gives me a better reason to set one up. Reply or PM me if you'd like one. I'll have to balance the specs of the main server against the specs of the new server since these are charity processes on my business server. However, since the open-access world has dropped in use on the main server it likely won't even be noticed... assuming I can keep myself from another 100k TNT explosion haha.
