1329558854 599 FT0 Ppx

In short:
- Polypropylene film-foil in oil
- 2500VDC 4000VPeak
- 6µF
- 5000A peak current handling
- Designed to be used in GTO thyristor circuits as snubber capacitors

I have 8 pieces available for selling. These are brand new, never been used caps and perfect for monster DRSSTC.

Datasheet for PPX series:

]PPX series High power film capacitors[/file]

I live in finland, can and will ship worldwide. I can trade these for money or something interesting (=power semiconductors, computer parts, maybe laptop or something)

You can contact me through forum or IRC @ #hvcomm @ irc.shadowworld.net

Those look impressive! :) What size are they? Is that an A4 piece of paper?

Its a folded A4.

These capacitors are 160mm long and 100mm in diameter. And they have 25mm diameter end terminals with M8 threads on both ends. They weight about 1.5 kilos each.

Single snubber caps just dont get beefier than these. Im selling these due to unfortunate overstock problem.

Would they work in an IH tank circuit? I wonder how much they'd heat up...

Are they much bigger than the Eurofarad caps we've been using so much?
