Someone just buy a surplus anti-air flak gun with EMP bullets.

I really don't like the way the U.S. government is heading with all of this unnecessarily shit.

It won't be long until someone figures out how to intercept the comms system controlling the thing, and send it nuts...

onboard autonomy might solve a catastrophic loss of the machine in this case.

I don't doubt they have already thought about what to do in the event of loss of comms and/or GPS, but just getting it to hover there or go round in circles like a dumbass because it has lost both would score geek points surely cheesey

I do admit its very scary to think about what modern IR cameras allow to be seen, and soft xray pics through walls. what in america constitutes " reasonable expectation of privacy"? We are a hare's breath away from the police peering into homes without warrants.

I do think the typical radical leftist protests, and the never before seen tea partiers from the center and right, have our ruling class elite here in america, truly frightend. And thus they may feel the need for "extreme watchfulness" as Major Gen. Killgore said in Dr. Strangelove. These drones i build, may fit into that plan.

"America" is dead. There is no right or reasonable expectation of anything in this dystopic, post-constitutional wasteland, especially with regard to "privacy". Unless of course you're a member of the criminal ruling class, e.g., Obama, who has so much "privacy" he doesn't even have to produce his birth records, even when lawfully required to do so. Can you imagine that? The holder of the most powerful political office in the world, someone with his finger on the nuclear button...someone who literally has the power to end life as we know it on this planet...yet he has so much "privacy" that we "the people" can't even know who he really is and if he's even eligible to hold his office in the first place? It would almost be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

Lastly, labels like "leftist", "conservative", etc., really don't have much meaning any more (to the extent they ever did in the first place), do they? For example, what's a "conservative" actually "conserving" nowadays?
