I bought the Uno and as far as the antenna goes i'd say i keep it about 8-12 inches away further seems to work yet but sometimes it will sputter a bit if i go to far just remember if you can't get an oscillation to start or you have poor performance at first try switching the primary leads. Also bringing up the voltage slowly with a variac helps to save on killing components until you have everything working correctly.

ok cool and the connection u used to the circuit was fibre optic right but whats the name of the part that u need to convert the signal to fibre optic if u dont mind sharing? so i can imput it into my circuit

i haven't bought any fiber optics other than the cables i was experimenting with making my own however it was a complete waste of time so someone else will have to help you with the optics. I use just audio/video RCA ables atm with no isolation feeding into the enable pin.

No dude HB dont give up check this link out
Link2

Digikey.com, Fiber cable - A1700-10-ND, Transmitter - FB129-ND, Receiver - FB142-ND.

is the audio transmitter and receiver used in this video could some one possibly help me modify the HB Modified circuit with the arduino in it to have the fibre optic cables and all would be perfect i think alot of people would be able to build off this design. due to the input only having 1 wire able to connect to it since usually audio has 2 this is why it is confusing me at the moment

Thank you so much if u could finalize this last modification! with the correct pins out off the arduino uno!

I like those how fast do you think they are? I use the HFBR-2521z and HFBR-1521z to drive a mosfet driver. I think I could get 1Mhz if I pushed it. look Ma no transformers. Its prity easy just feed the the reciever into a 74hc14. The HC14 will help speed it up. Alot of the ineruptor inputs to a tesla shouldn't go over 300us or are advertised as. If you use a micro like aduino it would better to make a tune because you could program the notes with a composed time that wont excide 300us. Example a 200-300us pulse at 800Hz for 1s then the next note on-time X 1200hz for 2s and so on. If a microphone audio signal is chopped would it have to be modulated to prevent the mosfets from beeing on to long?

I think i might pick those up this next week Littlecoiller, not a bad price and it should hook right into what i already have set up with the 74hc easily. Also Littlecoiller the circuit still uses 2 wires must have the common ground.

good luck

Hear is a cuple more examples the first three pictures are of my SLR inverter under conctruction project 2 and the fourth and fifth is project 1 a DRSSTC, a over all picture and wave forms. I would like to use those IF-D96 reciever and transmiter I'm not shure what sort of fall time they have. That will detemin what sort of frequeny it is pausible to use them up to. I'm shure they will handle a interuptor pulse as shown in the vid. The one thing that people have complaned about is the delay on optical links hopfully I can work that out or it won't be a problem with something like phase leading. I like optics because I can controle the drive signals to my IGBT's more precisly than transformers. I relise this might be a little advanced for this thread but you can get an idea what is pausible because to my knowlage no body has been willing to do it. if people want ideas I am willing to help. I like this thread because I plan to audio modulat miy DRSSTC in the future
